Having a difficult time adjusting to the 3 hour time change and awake
in the wee hours in the morning. It doesn't help that the numerous
(make that countless) roosters in the area don't wait for the sun to
come up to crow. They just start competing to see who can be the loudest
at about 2:30!! and they keep it up until after the sun comes up.
Several cups of coffee later and checking email in my temporary "office" we are ready for the day!
Lori's decoration looks cool, but keeps getting in my way.
Time to prep the Princess for travel.
Stopped for breakfast at McDonalds. Yummm, Spam! Didn't have any, but may try it one of these days.
Back in the car with chatty Kailin, and we are off to Costco again. This time to pick up stuff for cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
We also went to KMart and a regular grocery store. So much shopping...
Kailin and I decided to rest for a bit and try out the recliners at Costco. Unbeknownst to me, this is where I lose my cell phone...
And then there was SPAM! Acres of SPAM!!
There was low sodium SPAM,
Regular SPAM, and...
TWO PALLETS OF VIENNA SAUSAGE!
Keeping my health in mind, I opted for the low sodium variety.
We returned to the house and unloaded everything then decided to rest for a bit.
Well, most of us rested >
Then it was time to play in the yard. We threw plastic balls at each
other, played freeze tag, and some other "tag" game where you couldn't
move while the "it" person was looking at you. Bedlam ensued so we settled back and played Twenty Questions.
London ruled at Twenty Questions and the other "quiet" games.
On the way into the house I spotted this little Gecko on the ceiling of the carport. It was only a couple of inches long.
