I woke up at about 2:00 to the sound of rain. Knowing that the car windows were normally rolled down part way, I got up and checked. Passenger window was down part way and it was pouring rain. Used a garbage bag and the boogey board to cover it up and went back to bed!
Got up early (as usual) had coffee and listened to the roosters crow and the waves crashing on the shore...the roosters are louder.
Lori told us about their exploits at Black Friday and showed the kids one of the early Christmas presents cause it was a little big to hide. A Trampoline! Yea! Then all we heard for the next several hours was "I want you to set up the trampoline!"
London and I decided that we wanted Spam for breakfast. Sooo, we opened both cans and fried them up!
Apparently the Hot and Spicy Spam was a bit much for London. Nothing like drinking out of the sink sprayer.
While London and I were scarfing down Spam, Lori got busy with setting up the tramp!
We had to take a break from setting it up so that Nanee and the kids could try it out. There was no way that they were going to wait until the safety net was up!!!
Work continues.
You buy them a trampoline and they play with the cardboard box. Nice shady spot!
Still tying up the net and the kids are at it again!
This is a view from the front lawn down to the ocean.
Smokey decides he wants to play football since they won't let him on the trampoline.
Daddy gets into the game with the kids.
Long day and Kailin settles into a cardboard box to relax. Why?, don't ask me...
We went to Hanapepe for the evening. They have a Art Night on Fridays and some food vendors. We went through some of the art galleries and stores.
Lori and Nanee in front of one of the shops.
Cool old Ford truck that Popee just had to get a picture with.
We walked halfway across the swinging bridge just to do it, and so London could swing it while we were in the middle...Popee helped.
The end of a really long day!
